Re-install Corsair H80 on another Motherboard?

I am soon going to kit out my PC with the Corsair H80 Water Cooling to my i5 750 so I can overclock, this is my short term solution.

Though next year when Ivy Bridge comes out I want to buy a new Mobo and CPU but stick with my H80, can I re-install the H80 without problems, would I need anything?

I know it comes pre-treated with thermal paste but when I put it on a new rig will I have to re-apply the paste?

Yes you will have to clean it and put new thermal paste on.

Easy to do, and theres a million youtube vids/online guides to help, you'll be fine doing it

frolicols01- yes, these guys are correct...remove, clean, install new thermal paste and you are good to go. Basically, follow your installation steps from the first install, just provide your own paste (after removal and cleanup, of course).
