Hi everyone,

I'm building a new PC, and I'm trying to work out whether my old power supply will power it?

The power supply is a Toughpower 650W W0104RB - here's the technical blurb:

http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spsho [...] at=0&page=

The new build will be:

Gigabyte P55-UD4
Core i7 860
AMD 5850
6gb OCZ ram
1Tb harddrive + DVD

I know nada about power supplies - is this going to work ok?

Thanks :)

Matthew.

That's more than enough power for your system.

Thanks Viper - I know the watts are good, but just checking I've got the right amount of leads, volts and amps and all of that?

Unless you have 15 240 mm fans you didn't list, you'll have plenty of power connectors.
