hey guys, im building a system and want to know will these parts work together.
Case:antec 1200
CPU:core i7 920
mobo: gigabyte s1366
GPU: xfx gtx 285
PSU: bfg graphics 800w
RAM: ocz 6gb ddr3 (3x2)
CPU cooler: akasa intel lga 1366, 775 nero coole
OS: vista premium 64 bit.

ps: is the 800w psu enough to upgrade the gtx285 to sli?

Get a GTX275 and a corsair 750TX, it is enough to support 2 GTX275's in SLI. The GTX285 is just a slightly overclocked GTX275 for significantly more.

It all depends on the amount of amps on the 12v rail the psu can pump out. Yes it has the wattage. Unfortinally due to the lack of details on your psu you have listed I could not figure out what 800w model from bfg your looking at to determine the amount of amps it's pumping out (I think the gtx 285 is reccommended that it can draw up to 40Amps?).

Since your getting an Antec 1200 case ussualy they have combo deals at newegg.com with the Antec TPQ 850 and 1000.
Antec 1200 and Antec TPQ 850 - $300 Personaly I think this would be your best bet for that setup.

Another PSU that could handle a sli setup with two gtx 285's would be Crosair 850

hunters above note is pretty valid. The gtx275 is probally a better dollar vs preformance buy.
