I am installing two HD4850's in a Biostar TA790GX AM3 board.
The board only came with small paddle card.
Do I NEED a bridge or is software going to take care of this

Follow up Question: If I have one 4850 from Sapphire, should I Xfire it with the identical card from Sapphire, or can I use another manufacturer's 4850?

Thanks in advance

You can use another manufacturer's 4850 just be aware that it has the same amount of memory and runs at the same speed of your first 4850... otherwise you have to slighlty overclock the 1st 4850 :)

Thanks.

I was kinda concerned that the BIOS/memory timings might be different between 2 different manufacturer's cards - what do you know about that?

Dude, you can get it at any computer store and no you can have only 1 card, 2 is not necessary.
