My temps are 40-43C on idle and goes up to 55-57C on load. Are those temps in line with what others experience?

Core i7 920 stock 2.66 GHZ
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
6GB RAM
Coolermaster Stacker 830

To be honest I didnt think they made the brackets to fit the i7 920 mobos. Anyway the Freezer & Pro has been around for a while - would recomend you go with a newer cooler.

Titan Fenrir gives me 33/34 on all cores

lol, you are comparing apples to oranges....

The new AC Freezer works fine on any x58 mobo. I installed one not to long ago on an Asrock x58 Deluxe and temps are fine. Of course you can get a better cooler for a few dollars more.

The Core Contact and S1283 are known to perform extremely well for the price.
