Remove the program from the Add/Remove program

I have a WIndows XP computer. I uninstalled a program, but the program name is still on the add/remove program list even after I removed it from the registry. This is a free download. How can I completed remove the program from the Add/Remove program?

Have you tried restarting your system?

It's common to uninstall a program and still have the name of it in Add or remove programs, you generally just have to a wait a bit and it goes away, but it it does not, restart and see if it goes away as i mentioned.
