Sorry I can't help.
But I'd recommend you post this to comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.networking

:o)

Your question doesn't make any sense.

In the 1st place, you have only enumerated 3 systems (3 servers), then
you ask what you need to link 4 systems. Where did the 4th system come
from?

You need to explain in more detail what you want to do. Also, is the
internet involved (and if so how), or is this only a local network, with
no connection to the internet. Is any part of the connection to be
wired, or do you want it all wireless?

Barry he stated....

"hi, i have a wireless ethernet card (802.11b) and i also have 3
servers"

He siad he has a wirelss ethernet card and ALSO have 3 servers. That would
be 4. I take it he wants to wireless conenct the first device to his
network.

If your router supports 802.11b it should automatically detect the device if
it is a newer router, if not you have to configuare all the gateways and
settigns manually.

I recommend gettign a linksys router or other Cisco wirelss switches which
will save a headache. If you are runnign Windows Xp, it will detect the
network and ask you if you want to conect to it. If not secure check ALLOW
so it auto connects.

No, that's three computers and a stray wireless PC card! I have several
"extra" WiFi PC cards here that are still in their boxes. Without installing
them into a computer first it wouldn't make a lot of sense to include them
in a list of systems I want to network.

Barry's question was completely legitimate, he simply wants to know what the
four systems the OP referred to consist of.
