This has not been released yet But my research tells me it will be avaiale mid to late December.

Here is a very good review of this case:
http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/l [...] se_review/

I will be getting this side window for it also:
http://www.lian-li.com.tw/v2/en/pr [...] ex=110&g=f

You Tube:

This is my current rig:

I think it will sell for $190.00
If anyone knows where I can buy this now please update this thread with that informaiton.

Regards,

Mark

I don't see anything special about that case. Make sure you are aware that once you swap cases yor airflow rate will drop significantly =)

I saw that however, It's showing a picture of the older one not the "F" one.

Did you actually read the review?

^5 +1 what OvrClkr said.

Mark - I read the technical review and took a good look at the photos. That front bezel does not have adequate ventilation and severely restricts airflow. There's also no ventilation on the side panel. You would be better off with the Antec 900.

There are other Lian Li and Lancool cases with much better ventilation, airflow, and cooling.

Reply to JohnnyLucky

I have documented my tepms with the Antec 900.

I will post my temps with the same configuration once I find and buy this case.

Should be interesting.

Thanks guys,

Mark

I would not trust that review 100%, as most info is accurate, it makes no sense that a case with dual 120mm front fans, a rear 120mm exhaust, a side 120mm and a bigger 200mm exhaust on top will have less airflow vs a case that lacks a proper front intake for maximum heat transfer. Don't get me wrong here, the Li is much more refined and made of better materials but it will not cool your components better than a 900.

Id rather buy me this and save me some money, maybe do a few mods and install some nice fans :

This case was supposed to have been released in september, and it is not available anywhere as far as I can tell. It got good reviews and I like the looks of it, but I am sick of waiting for it. Is it really not coming untill december?! My new rig is never gonna get built at this rate... :pfff:

There are many other cases to choose from, specially with that budget =)

I fell in love with this case the 1st time I saw it mentioned online, and read that review like it was a reciepe for coke cookies. There's just something about Lian Li's ability for marrying function with beautiful form... Of course I loved the look of that anniversary case they made a few years back that was inspired by the nautilus; the PC-777, so maybe I'm just bent?

Anyway, like you I'm eagerly awaiting availability.

No, it is beautifull case. i can see the restrictive intake up front as the side vents are small. I have PC A-10 with similar front and one factory fan. I added another via 3 drive slots and its fine.

Now I just need this side window:

Anyone know where I can get this?

I'd suggest contacting Lian Li, as most places do not stock accessories for cases. Normally it is easiest to get things like that straight from the source.

The marriage of form and function just... moves me. Somewhat like that knockout blonde that snaps your neck into a double-take; you know you want that and even if you can't afford it, it makes you smile just knowing it's out there...

aluminums do not need all that air. (like an extra wide secc case)
I like it before looking.

if you put flawed electronics in, that case will tell you.

airheads and leaky chips....some comments suck.

EDIT:
I went and looked. disappointed. Ateight it ought to be 10 inches wide, and the top vent is an a****le

Thanks but you can't buy directly from them.

I filed a request at NewEgg. Lets see what happens with that.

Reply to Mark_K

There are a couple of case mod vendors that stock quite a few Lian Li parts and accessories. I think I have them referenced. Unfortunately I am not at home right now. I follow-up later.

Thanks JL,

Once I get this I will do a comparison of my current rig with this new case.
I won’t happen until the week between Xmas and New Years when I can find the time.

Thanks

Here you go. I think Frozen CPU has the largest offering of Lian Li parts:

Don't know if they have the exact panel you want.

Reply to JohnnyLucky

Thanks JohnnyLucky,

I called Frozencpu and they said that it will be in on the next container from China.

Yea, I could understand from a refined/better materials point of view but the case does not look like it is worth 200.00$... Maybe it does once you take the side panel off, but IMO there are better looking Li's out there for that price. Anyways you are the buyer, so as long as it meets your needs and makes you happy, that is what counts ;)

FrozenCPU will be geeting this case and side window next week. I bet the price on Newegg will go down to 190.00 next week also.

I am holding off for two more weeks to see if they at least give me free shipping.

--------------------------
Edit: FrozenPCU just got it in and they uped the price to $199.99 just like NewEgg.

I am still waiting for the side window to become availabe before I jump on this unit.

To me, this case is about as good as it gets and I have also been anxiously waiting for this. Personally, I do not really like the Antec cases that much that I suspect you prefer. With this case, when you combine the fantastic tooless design with Lian-li quality, as well as VERY good airflow, this is a no-brainer to me. Plus it is gorgeous. I suspect with your name that extreme airflow is your #1 requirement, but honestly it is near the bottom of my list. This case will handle a high end stock system expertly and will be very quiet which is important to me too. (Just not so important that I use a P182).

Will definitely be getting one.

Haha, yes, to each his (or her) own. I'm more in the camp of don't pay more than $60-$70 for a steel/aluminum box, and after that priority airflow and then looks, but I can see the appeal of that case. I'm glad they finally got it out for you all.
