Please help regarding compatiabilty

In a nutshell, I ordered this motherboard and I overlooked the memory that it supported. I am newbie, this is my first time building a computer and I was wondering if this memory is compatible? If it is not could you please give me the link to 4 gigs of memory that is compatible?

Motherboard supports 1333 I ordered 1600 mhz.

Looks like 1333 is the max.

Newegg has some Kingston 1333 (2GB). Maybe you could exchange what you purchased and get a credit towards these or anything else they carry that's on the list.

Ah, are you 100% sure that it won't be compatible? I checked the manual, and you are right. If i get 4 gigs of kingston it comes out 45$ more expensive.

Also, just noticed that the memory you ordered is for an intel MB.

It says in the specifications that it is compatible with AM3 Mobo

My bad...it does state AM3 platform> I also see that other users of that memory have had some sucess adjusting the timing and voltage to get it working with other motherboards. Perhaps you can get it to do the same for you.
