The Q6600 stepping jumped from B3 to G0 (don't know what happened to C, D, E, and F ). The B3's were OK overclocker's, but the G0's were great. I think "great" here means that 50% OC's were not uncommon.

That's kinda like the Xbox 360 launch video from Red vs. Blue. "Xbox 360? When did I miss versions 2 through 359?"
And I overclocked my G0 Xeon to 3.45Ghz from the 2.4, so that figure is somewhat close.
