NEW Gaming PC Build - around 1500$

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, movies, surfing the internet, multimedia etc.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Do not need speakers, mouse, keyboard but suggestions for good and cheap ones will be taken (outside the 1500$ for the PC and monitor)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: I'm from Canada so and seem like the best choices.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Not sure if I need an i920 or not but I don't mind overclocking it because I heard it's simple and the Storm Scout looks like a cool case.

OVERCLOCKING: Yes don't mind overclocking if it is simple (haven't done it before) and I wouldn't mind sli or crossfire as long as my video card is futureproof.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: I want the max resolution of 1920x1200 but does it really make a difference in games? Like I would want to be able to run games at high settings if I want to but let me know your thoughts on that resolution.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I already have windows that I can install on it and would love to be under 1500$ if possible. Thanks!

  1. For 1920x1200 you want a GTX275 or HD 4890. Ironically this build comes up to 1337 on newegg without shipping or rebates

    Storm Scout

    Corsair 750TX

    Asus P6T V2 Deluxe

    i7 920

    6GB OCZ platinum

    XFX 4890

    Samsung DVD burner

    Samsung Spinpoint 1TB

If you want to OC you are going to want an aftermarket cooler like the core contact freezer

Dont forget to shop directcanada and use the price match on NCIX to get the best deal, i just find stuff on newegg because im more familiar with their website.
