Finishing building new system today and can't get it to post. All I can tell you is that on my P7P55D E, the fans also spin up momentarily, then stops for about 3 or 4 seconds, then the whole booting process starts. First time I thought I didn't install everything properly.

Thanks for the reply. I actually had to reseat the cpu and now everything is great.
