Links 2003 directx internet connection

I had my msn links 2003 internet connection and then my daughter wanted to use it for something else and started to d/l i.e. 8 , but could not finish and then when i went into links 2003 to get to my golf, i had no internet connection . where do i go to d/l a program to get back to links 2003 golf on-line play

I don't think the aborted download of IE8 was a cause; check with your internet provide. In any case, why not try an alternative browser like Google Chrome or Firefox? Links works on neither of those?
