well im looking at CPU choices at first i was going with I5 but went over budget but what CPU would u choose the intel core 2 duo e8500 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115036 or intel core 2 duo e8400 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115037 also which mobo would you recommend with what RAM or if any other cpu btw its for a gaming pc
Neither. Both are overpriced for a dual core. Do you live near a Microcenter? They have cpus for very cheap prices. If not, and you absolutely can't get an i5, build, then get these: Q8400 for $150, overclock it easily to 3.0GHz+ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] -_-Product Q9400 for $189, very overclockable as well. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] -_-Product
so how much would a i5 be at microcenter also what mobo would u recommend with it
i5s are $150 at microcenter, i7 860s and i7 920s are $200 at microcenter. Q8200s are $130, Q9550s are ~$160, etc Motherboard...go with what you can afford. Anything by Asus or Gigabyte are good. Intel's own motherboards are pretty solid as well.
OK and i was wondering are evga video cards good also i cant seem to find i5's on micro-center site
so far my choice is a I5 and a MSI LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Motherboard P55CD53 or ASUS P7P55D LE LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard what u say
