Hello everyone, I need some advice, but first, let me give my computer specs.

Motherboard: ASUS 790FX M3A32-MVP DELUXE(Latest Bios supports Phenom II 965.)
CPU: AMD 5200+ Dual Core 2.7Ghz.
Ram: 2 gigs PC2-6400
Video card: BFG GTX 275 O/CED

What I have right now sitting on my desk is a newly ordered Phenom II Quad 965 3.4Ghz and 4 Gigs of OCZ 1066 DDR2.

I ordered these because basically I was at my limit from income tax, now here's the dilemma... I now have more money than what I did when I ordered this. So I am thinking about buying a new motherboard and going ahead and getting DDR3 ram instead (Would just send the 4gigs of ddr2 back).

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130223
DDR3 Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227496

Is it even worth going through the trouble and getting that? Or could my money be better spent else where. I would really like some advice. I'm basically just trying to max out my performance for gaming.

well basically you are set with the cpu and motherboard you could always save that cash to get a fresh dx11 gpu hm 280 $ with that you could get a 5850 but since you've got a 275 (can always sell too)
with both 275 sold and 280 you can get your hands on a 5870 or gtx 295 about the same price (but the 5870 is dx11 enabled)
