How do I know whether this is C0 stepping or D0 stepping?...it doesn't say anywhere, I checked all the specs because I want to buy a D0.
Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor
If this isn't the right one can i find one on newegg because search results only show one core i7 920.
Thanks for any help.

[quotemsg=2007304,3,339378]Okay thanks. and also you might know but why did the i7 920 used to be called
"The Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem" and now its called "The Intel Core i7 920 Bloomfield". Do you know why this is?, I mean i know all the processors use nehalem architecture but why is it called differently now then it was?[/quote]

my guess is for some people, they prefer the branch name of the group of cpu than the family name of the cpu's.

Newegg doesn't distinguish between C0 and D0 in their warehouse. It's most likely you'll get a D0 now, though--the product is moving so fast that I doubt older C0s are still in the warehouse.

When you get the proc, check the batch number on the box. SLBEJ is D0, SLBCH is C0.
