How fix seagate external drive

I have a 2 yr old Seagate external hard drive, but there is nothing coming up on the drive as files on concerned...Did it die, or is there a way to revive it..THANKS!!

Did this happen all of a sudden? Was the drive working fine before? Check the connections and make sure that the power adapter is connected.
