You are trying to change a limited account to an admin account from the limited account? It cant be done, thats the point of a limited account, if you could it would defeat the purpose of a limited account. You will need to change the account's permission level from an admin account.

Have to go on an administrator's account, which is probably your brother's.

If his has a password, I know there is a way to reset them but I personally don't know how.

You can download a program call ophcrack and use it to create a bootable CD... that should crack his password

^LOL he has windows xp, you can crack in 2 seconds!
Open up CMD
type in:
net user (your brothers account name without paranthesis) *
-then it will prompt for password twice and you are set.

Or you can type:
net user administrator *

Its very easy, you can crack anyones account from any type of account weather it be limited or guest :)

Windows XP = crackable.
Windows Vista / 7 = crackable but harder and slower.

So, tell us which version are u using?
