As you may or may not know, pictures in the forum popped up briefly, and then stopped. Some liked them, some didn't.

Would you like this forum to have pictures?

We won't be taken seriously if we mess about on this one, so be honest. If you're on 56k, you may feel that it's not going to be a good idea. I believe that 56k ok, as long as it's implemented cleverly. Although 56k is still popular, it's gradually being replaced for many 'enthusiasts', so I reckon we should try for it IMHO.

Yes it would be sweet.. but the odds of my bare ass apearing on the site will dramatically increase... its a risk we must take... onward Fredi we need pictures...

Actually your humor is dead on, what I worry most about. Will some control their pic posting or not. THAT would in a way call for active picture moderating. Read: PICTURE, not post.

It would work if we can build trust, but I would not appreciate one who posts very explicit content, perhaps even offensive (rape pictures?! Racist pics?!). It is a hard feature to implement in such forum, ESPECIALLY for the OTHER.

Well I would like to see it if it doesn't slow down the site. But with pictures we need moderators and we will never get them so we will never get this too.

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM :eek:

One thing I didn't understand was the sudden availability of the option.
Was it someone who actually tweaked around and found out an option never before tried and that wasn't mentionned in the FAQ? Was it Fredi suddenly enabling it?

It's quite a mystery mind you.

It was a 'hole' in the programming which allowed pics. Now it's closed.

Makes you wonder what other holes might be there.

Hmm, good point. I only wanted to post pics of my footie team like Auburn, our maybe my holiday pics, but a couple of people (not Eden I may add) bleated that it wasn't fair.

We're pretty sensible people, despite what we say most of the time, and I don't think it would have been abused. Adn if someone did, I think we'd all jump on them very fast.
