I am looking for a card which has better performance but produce less temperature. Which one I should choose? I am not worried about price.

I have a XFX 9800 GT and if you dont overclock it, it will run very nicely. the 9600 GT may have a higher core clock but the 9800 has more processing cores and it has 512 of DDR3 on a 256 bit interface where as the 9600 has ddr2 and it is on a 128 bit interface. the 9800 will really shine at higher resolutions and with AA enabled.

there are many of 9600GT variant out there. 9600GT with GDDR3 with 256bit do exist. but in term of performance 9800GT still the winner

+1 on you guys the 9800gt is a great bang for buck card and it doesnt run all to hot so most def go with the 9800
