No Internet on PC

Hi, I have internet access on my laptop but not on my PC. I have checked loads of things, eg, the browser, security levels, almost everything!! Could someone please give me some advice, I forget to mention I can get onto the Internet, but when I go to put in my password the screen changes & then says, Internet explorer cannot display the web page.

It sounds like you are trying to access a specific website with a password, you will have to enter the correct password.
