I'm replacing an external hard drive with an internal sata. I had a 500gb that was well and all but kept crapping out on me (by Fantom, not the best quality). I've had a 160gb WD for 7 years now that refuses to die. Hoping to get that same kind of reliability. I will be running torrents about 24/7 on this drive so read will be high, not too much write though

Price range - $60 or less
Preferred site - Any
Motherboard - I own this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186147

I found a coupon for this WD Green 750gb that's $10 off bringing it to $59.99. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136359
Thoughts?

That should work fine, also serving torrents off a SATA interface will be much better in the long run. Trying to push tons of data back and forth from the internet and an external drive will bottleneck up at your USB connection all the time.
