8800 ultra vs 260gtx

i own a 8800 ultra that i bought on ebay for like $80 (sweet)

but i see now the 260gtx has droped in price to like $180 after cash back

is it really that much better than 8800 ultra
because i could sell my 8800 for $125 and buy a 260gtx

so what do i do

GTX 260 Core 216 > 8800 Ultra and much less heat problems.

To put it into better perspective, the GTX 275 that I now have replaced my 3 8800GTX ACS3 cards and are about equal in performance. Much less heat as elie3000 stated.

I made the upgrade to reduce heat and I put about 120 bucks in my pocket afterwards. Sell the 8800 Ultra while you can for that price. The longer you wait the more it will drop as 6 months ago people were getting over 200 easily for the 8800GTX cards.
