Heatsinks: Which one should I get

I get paid this week and I am interested in doing some overclocking to my current rig. I'm using the stock fan which gets extremely loud when I run my CPU at max not to mention when I overclock. As for now I am running the stock voltages but I want to push past 4.0GHz on a Phenom II 955.

Here are the heatsinks I have picked out:

Ultra ChillTec Black Overclocking CPU Cooler

Cooler Master RR-V6GT-22PK-R1 V6 GT

Thermaltake CLP0564 Frio Dual 120mm Universal CPU Cooler

Price is no object I just want a quality air-cooled system without messing with water. Also, I am upgrading to the newest 8-core chips from AMD when they come out.

More about heatsinks
  1. I believe this one is the best. Also, buy from newegg because it's a better site.
  2. If price is no object
    NH D14

    A top performing air cooler.
  3. AH yes, I wanted the d14 but Tigerdirect was sold out :(
Seems that is the common answer so ill go with that :)

  4. COOLER MASTER Intel Core i7 compatible V10 Hybrid TEC RR-B2P-UV10-GP 120mm CPU Cooler

If you can't get it cool with this one then you should switch to water cooling.
  5. Make sure the Noctua fits in your case. I don't know if your previous mentioned ones will fit, or their specs.

Im not disputing your knowledge, nor am I saying that I am knowledgeable on CPU cooler specs.

Its just a friendly reminder, nothing else.

On a side note, does anyone know what is with the 18s
  6. I've got a NZXT Phantom Full Tower Case. Im pretty sure I have enough clearance but I will make sure before I buy this weekend. Thanks for the warning though.
