Unauthorized addition of wireless network to my pc

I noticed in under my wireless networks tab of my wirless network properties, that somehow two available wireless networks were added to my pc. They both had a logo and name and looked commerical in nature. I clicked on them and hit the remove button so they are gone from the list. My questions are, what are they, how do they get on my pc, and are they truly gone from my pc just by clickling "remove"

Your wireless adapter is just detecting neighbouring wifi networks, not connecting to them -- don't worry about it.
