Motherboard p5kpl-am se compatibility windows 7

Hi i know it says here that ASUS P5KPL-AM SE listed that it supports the windows xp/vista but did not say about windows 7. I tried running the setup for the motherboard but it says Motherboard support cd does not support this operating system(wnt_6.1p_64_mce.) By the way i install this os without removing my windows xp os. In device manager there is 1 other devices in which i cant find the driver that it need to get it done. Im already using windows 7 at this moment. But i just got curious what i should do to get that driver in Other Devices section fixed. please help

I bought a similar board recently (Asus P5KPL-AM) and it does work with Windows 7. Unless I'm mistaken, the SE model should work, too.

Another option: contact Asus and request another driver disc for your board.
