Seagate Cheetah 15k Sata 300 Will it make a good OS boot drive?

Hi I have a chance to get a good deal on a Seagate Cheetah 15k SAS 300 146gb drive ($40 USD open never used- I can run diagnostics like SMART on it before purchase)
Will this be a big improvement on my current Seagate Barracuda 250gb 7200 rpm drive?
if anybody has good benchmark links to the Cheetah that would be appreciated

I was just googling about an hour ago and discovered
that every 15k cheetah I saw was SAS or U320

Now in his ad and on the phone the seller stated it was a SATA
drive

do they make a Sata Cheetah 15k drive?

Ok my next question is their a big performance difference between
the WD Black and Blue series?

I was thinking of the Seagate Barracuda,WD Blue or WD Black in a 500gb
which one would you pick?
keep in mind price vs performance

I prefer the Black for its longer warranty, but it's slightly more expensive. I don't think that you'd be able to see a performance difference between them. If price is important, then buy the least expensive one.

I ended up getting a HLFS series Velociraptor 160gb 10k for $51 USD on ebay.

But you are right
For a larger drive I would have gone with the WD Black after doing some research
