Should i buy a new motherboard

hi guys i was thinking of getting a new mobo because mine is quite bad its a foxconn and i was thinking of upgrading to the msi p55 gd80 lga 1156
i dont know if i should buy it as i have an i5 750 and was thinking of upgrading but i dont know what to upgrade to?

well what are looking to do as far as graphics and whatnot. are you planning on using a multicard setup in the future?

Maybe you just boring with your system, it is not worth and efficient with upgrade mobo p55, just opinion if you want upgrade get new system like SB, it total solution. Feel and fresh with new system.

ok one other question i can get maby i7 960 in 2 months and an a good msi mobo
is this a good idea or should i go with SB

Considering the i7-960 is LGA 1366 and you would have to get another mobo anyway, you would be much better off going SandyBridge and getting an i5-2500k or i7-2600k for cheaper than the i7-960.

Plus Intel has said that Ivy Bridge will be backwards compatible with 1155 mobos so you have a bit of futureproofing there.

go for lga 1155 supported intel(oem) motherboards. they are efficient, stable and will give a better performance over a long time.moreover intel processors and intel(oem) motherboards are a good combo.
