Should i buy a new motherboard

hi guys i was thinking of getting a new mobo because mine is quite bad its a foxconn and i was thinking of upgrading to the msi p55 gd80 lga 1156
i dont know if i should buy it as i have an i5 750 and was thinking of upgrading but i dont know what to upgrade to?

Considering the i7-960 is LGA 1366 and you would have to get another mobo anyway, you would be much better off going SandyBridge and getting an i5-2500k or i7-2600k for cheaper than the i7-960.

Plus Intel has said that Ivy Bridge will be backwards compatible with 1155 mobos so you have a bit of futureproofing there.

go for lga 1155 supported intel(oem) motherboards. they are efficient, stable and will give a better performance over a long time.moreover intel processors and intel(oem) motherboards are a good combo.
