Identifing memory ram

You can put it in a PC and look in the System Properties section, or you can look on the stick for a sticker or inscription. Another way is to find the brand and go to their website and type in any serial number or model numbers you can find on the stick.

If it's in a working PC, use Belarc Advisor or other diagnostic tool.

If not, follow multi's advice.
