I am currently running a Sapphire 4870x2 on an asus rampage board with 8 gig ram, a q9550 @ 2.83, 1100w PS, ect. ect. ect., However I am using A nice a** 32" screen, with a smaller screen I know it would be a horrible waste of money to buy a second card but with such a big screen could I expect to see better performance, 3d mark score blah. blah. blah.

Do you know what resolution the screen runs at? A lot of times just because it's bigger it doesn't run at a higher resolution, which is the only thing that really matters.
I am running desktop at 1920x1080, most games however I cant play at high past 1080x800
A 4870x2 should be able to play games at a lot higher than that. It's the second best card on the market right now.
