How do I setup Corsair Force 3 120 gb (Noob here)

So, I recently put my pc together and on an impulse buy I purchased a corsair force 3 ssd 120 gb model. I was expecting to receive it on Friday, and just received it now. I have no idea how I should go about setting it up.

I'm a noob, not afraid to say it. Feel free to break it down what the best way to setup would be. Both my hard drives are currently almost full.

More about setup corsair force noob here
  1. -Put the SSD in, connect it to the 1st SATA III port, connect the SATA power cable.

-Make sure the other two ... well all other data storage devices (Hard drives, USB sticks, whatever are not connected (unplug data cable, or remove device)

-Install Windows to SSD, update windows via WU.

    - Connect Hard drives.

-Do whatever customizing you want to do such as moving user files to one of the hard drives. is a great place for How To's in this regard
  2. Thanks for the tips, I will checkout seven forums as well. I haven't opened the drive yet, and the results/review have me leery about keeping this thing. Going to see if I can exchange it for a Intel 510 Series and pay the difference. Seems to be a lot more reliable.
