So, I recently put my pc together and on an impulse buy I purchased a corsair force 3 ssd 120 gb model. I was expecting to receive it on Friday, and just received it now. I have no idea how I should go about setting it up.

I'm a noob, not afraid to say it. Feel free to break it down what the best way to setup would be. Both my hard drives are currently almost full.

-Put the SSD in, connect it to the 1st SATA III port, connect the SATA power cable.

-Make sure the other two ... well all other data storage devices (Hard drives, USB sticks, whatever are not connected (unplug data cable, or remove device)

-Install Windows to SSD, update windows via WU.

- Connect Hard drives.

-Do whatever customizing you want to do such as moving user files to one of the hard drives. sevenforums.com is a great place for How To's in this regard

Thanks for the tips, I will checkout seven forums as well. I haven't opened the drive yet, and the results/review have me leery about keeping this thing. Going to see if I can exchange it for a Intel 510 Series and pay the difference. Seems to be a lot more reliable.
