Hey all

At the moment I have this setup ( yes its an old computer )

MSI 975X Platinum PowerUP ed. I975X, S-775, PCI-ex16.
Gainward GeForce 7600GT-256MB 1.4ns DDR3 PCI-Express
Corsair TWIN2X 5400 DDR2, 10024MB (CM2x512MB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13Ghz Socket LGA775 Boxed fan.
Samsung 7200rpm 16MB cache 250Gb. Serial ATA.
430W powersupply.

I like to know what parts that needed to be changed or upgraded to play the new MMO Aion at
1280x1024, High quality? Atm I have all on low and I have 30fps :(

this is recommended from aion for low settings:

Dual Core CPU 2.0GHz or equivalent • 2GB RAM NVIDIA® 6800 with 256MB RAM / ATI Radeon™ x800 with 256MB or higher 15GB hard disk space • DVD-ROM drive • DirectX ® 9.0c (6/2008 update) • Sound device • Broadband Internet connection

my budget aint big. around 300 dollar max.

advice?

Id be tempted to just upgrade the gfx card at this time .

I dont know the game , or how demanding it is but you should be able to fit a stronger pci-e gfx card and see if it gets you the fps you want
The game must have a website and forum and that will probably be your best source of information about what card to buy
I doubt you will need a top end gfx card to get playable rates so a
radeon 4770 , 4850 or nvidia 9800 GT are probably a good match to the rest of your computer and each one is MUCH more powerful than the recommended minimums
[ your 7600 gt is roughly the same power as the 6800gt ]
Look on newegg and you will find the 4850 is as low as $90 and is the strongest of the 3 cards I mentioned ......in most games

Keep in mind that if that doesnt work you may need to upgrade cpu/motherboard/ ram
