Hard drive was there now it's not

Ok I bought a Samsung HD103sj 1TB as a 2nd hard drive. I put it in about a month ago, my computer picked it up fine, I formatted it and started using it. Yester day my computer froze up so I restarted it, and not my drive does not show up. I tried changing the power connector, changing the sta connector I was using I have 4 sta ports on my mother board. I have tried combinations of all 4 sometimes it will not boot up all the way it will get past the part where it says windows XP with the lines that run across like a download meter. So I turn it off change the sta port, and restart. When it does restart I checked my Bios and it shows the hard drive. I go ahead and finish booting then check my computer no hard drive there only drive C I go to the computer management and it is not there either.

You drive may have gone dead. Check to see if it will work in another computer or return it for another. I take it you had it working but it just plain stopped working now.
