btw is your motherboard Crossfire ready? - Cuz I don't think a 4890 needs that much power xD
I think your PC is a little higher than mid grade, its actually really good. Definitely

psu is overkill

650 watt for a single 4890

750 watt for a crossfire set up

you can also probably get cheaper 1333 MHz RAM without affecting performance
look for 7-7-7-20 or lower timings and under 1.7 volts

That will save you a bit

What size monitor? If its 1920x1080 or larger, the 4890 is nice. If you're just playing on a 1680x1050, then you can cut some and get a 4870 1 gb for $130 and still not use all the GPU.
