Posted this yesterday but apparently a mod deleted it for whatever reason (Fanboy?)

Anyways, when does this end? Why are they allowed to do business? When does someone put a stop to their cheating ways?

Why cant Intel compete fairly without stealing other companies ideas and copyrights and without cheating? Without bribing OEM's?

I think their should be severe punishement to not only Intel but Dell as well. Thoughts?

Same thing can be said about the American Banking system but nothing happened there, based on previous American standards Intel is "too big to stop... err fail".

Thats Bush-nomics, were talking about Intel here.

I dont remember any American banks that copied other banks products, infringed upon other banks copyrights, or bribed other banks into only doing business with certain companies. Please pay attention and stay on the subject.

Oh stop, or ATIC just may buy Intel
No, I deleted the thread, kept it up for awhile with a note asking you to place your link into http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] l#t2008594 this thread. So please do, as we want to keep all info there if possible

It was probably deleted because there is a thread on it already.

And stealing? Stealing to me is only when a company uses that IP they have and sells it to other companies. Not ones who set on it waiting for a company to find the same thing then sue for patent infringement.

or do you mean QPI/IMC which funny enough turns out Intel owns the Alpha set of CPU tech from DEC and its the same one AMD made their designs for K8 on.

OT, its rehased again and again. I just feel that the NY guy is doing it for other reasons than "its wrong". I think he does it to make himself look good to get the govenors seat.

No I'm talking about stealing patents from the University of Wisconsin. Do you really think Intel designed C2D? Ha, now thats chuckle-worthy.

How bout stealing copyrights from Transmeta?? Hmmmm.....yeah and all the other lawsuits, bribes, etc.

...6 BILLION to Dell.......Obviously the only way Intel thinks they can put AMD out of business is by bribing OEM's. It's sad really.

It's a shame they cant design anything on their own since the Pitiful Pentium D. Of course the Pentium D sucked so bad I guess they had to resort to stealing others ideas. LOL

I was intending for a witty response, but I think leaving you to try and find patterns in television static would be more useful.

Typical fanboy reaction with no attempt to defend the shameful facts you can't deny. And they are facts, or Intel would not have paid these companies millions to shut up about it when they got sued and lost.

Television static is something you people from the boonies would know more about, we have satellite.

I don't see AMD just selling the rest of the business without getting a really huge sum back. We're talking past what the Chartered buyout cost.

AMD's share of globalfoundries is worth a fortune now.

Well my bad, I was out of the country for a week. Some of us have lives other than trolling the forum every 30 minutes.
