Can't set latency in BIOS
Feb 6, 2010, 8:06 PM
I thak you for quick advice.
I have purchased six month ago notebook HP dv3 2150ec.
I have instaled new bios in, from HP site.
Here is the version of my bios:
So the manufacturer of matherboard is Compal, model 306D, chipset PM45, southbridge 82801M (ICH9-M).
To upgrade the PC have I purchased new memory:
It is 4GB pc2 6400 CL4 200 pin SODIMM kit.
The problem is that the PC doesn't recognize the Memory, probably because of the Latency.
Please If you got some solution don't hasitate to help me.

You don't have too many options. Return it and buy compatible RAM, e.g., Kingston KTH-ZD8000C6/4G or equivalent. Several sites sell compatible RAM for that system.
