Hello. im having some strange problems whit my Asus Maximus Formula II motherboard after changing computer case.

Before i changed this board has been like an dream to me. easy to overclock good bios etc.
But now i changed my case from Recom Powerstation to the CoolerMasters Sniper Black edt.

And now at first the pc booted and all was fine. but after some restarting etc im experience a strange problem.

sometimes when i start the computer it goes to the frist screen whit the intel logo and press del to enter setup. and here it gets stuck. nothing works. it just freezes.

But the strange thing is that suddenly it works and boots like normal?

Ive tryed the following:

Reset cmos
Overclocked the cpu
Standar Clocked the cpu
Updated bios to the newest one
gone over all cables inside the case. everything is ok
taken out readyboost
made new boot orders

Nothing off this worked. the pc lives its own life. sometimes it starts. sometimes it freezez.
strange isent it?

This is my current setup:

> Case :: CoolerMasters Storm Sniper Merc
> MB :: Asus Maximus II Formula
> CPU :: Intel Q9550
> CPU Cooler :: Zalman CNPS700
> Mem :: Ballistix Gold 2gb TwinX (1066Mhz) Kingstone HyperX 1066Mhz
> GFX :: ATI Radeon HD5850
> PSU :: Enermax Liberty 620W
> DVDrom :: Samsung DVD RW
> Mouse :: Cooler Master Storm Sentinel Advance
>Keyboard :: Logitech G15 v2

Any 1 knows what may cause this issue?

Thanks: Concker.

Hello,

The case change would suggest a possible short or damage to a component / trace near the mounting locations.
Did you take anti static percautions ?
