Hello Everybody:

My question is if I want to connect my laptop, to the plasma, there will be any problems/quality reduce if the VGA cable is 30 feet long?

Another question is: through what cable can I transmit the sound?

The laptop is Acer 5730Z.

Thank you.

As for sound, go for a standard 1/8th inch male to male cable I would assume. You may need to get a 1/8th inch plug to A/V converter for the TV side though depending on what inputs the TV supports. :)

If the cord is quality, you'll be fine. For example, I have a 50ft DVI cable that gives me excellent image quality.
