Hi,
I recently purchased a used 380Z thinkpad. Everything on it seems to
run fine, except it makes a clicking noise that is very irritating.
Does anyone know why it does this? If I have it just sitting on the
table turned on, I can hear it from across the room. Any suggestions,
ideas? Is this something that can be fixed?

sounds like the hard-drive.... some ibm travelstars had a big problem in
like 1999 or 2000... is that the era of this laptop? if so, you might want
to get a new drive.
