Asus P5KPL-AM IN usb lockups vista 64 (Mesh PC)

USB flash disks works for a short while then crashes and then can not be seen in windows vista. Windows explorer also locks up until stick is removed. This happens on front and rear usb slots the one on the card reader just says USB device not recongnised or failed??? The USB flash disks all seem to work fine on other systems. Please can anybody help help?
