How to delete an active desktop item recently created

Hello,

How do I delete or remove an active desktop Item I created in error? I was trying to create a shortcut an by error selected the other option which was "create an active desktop item.

Those are normally created for WEB pages.
To delete Active Desktop item:

Click on the "Start" icon.

Click on "Settings."

Click on "Control Panel."

Click on the "Web" tab.

Select the icon that appears on the desktop and click on "Delete."

Click on "Yes" to confirm the deletion, and then click on "OK" to finish the removal of the active desktop.
