if ur using the ati hd audio thru hdmi cable have u noticed it makes the cpu run hotter makes the gpu hotter to by setting it to disablbed now the cpu and hdd are back to normal even less hot somethings wrong with the audio chip in the ati hd4800 series graphic cards ?

Well, it's gotta use the CPU and GPU to process that stuff, so it makes sense that it would be hotter. How much hotter are we talking, though?

normal temps with it disabled cpu -34c hdd-37c gpu-62c @idle

now if the audio in the ati card is enabled the temps for cpu-41c hdd-45c gpu-64c @idle
