ASUS M4A78-E Temperature

Hi all,

My Config:
AMD Phenom II X4 955BE
ASUS M4A78-E
4GB 800Mhz DDR2 RAM
ASUS EAH4870 1G

In Ideal condition Mother board temperate is 54 C.
While plying any games (NO Overclocking) for 10 minutes the motherboard temperature hits 62 C and PC Probe shows the alarm for the same.

Is it normal? What max. temp. motherboard can sustain?

Help!!!!!!!!

Try Removing your CPU Fan Cooler and remount it and clean the Thermal Coumpound and add some more a thin coat over the processor then remount it and see you might have some Gaps in it ..... also what Watts is your PSU...the 955 do run hot but if your not overclock it should not be that hot..at all.....if you have a stock box change it remember if your stock still the CPU need lot of air.....i have use a Small Box and had the same problem i change my PC Case to a Antec Nine Hundred and Cool temp drop and i am over clock a bit and my temp is around idel on air 34c and stress test around 39c Motherboard temp 29C and i have a mild Overclock to 3.5Ghz

MY Processor & GPU are running cooler but Motherboard gets hot.
I am using 500W VIP GOLD SMPS.
