What is the voltage capacity of exhaust fan within the power computer case

The power supply case within the computer is functioning but the cooler or heat exhaust fan is not working when connected to the mother board but when we remove and test the fan it worked. What is the cause? or any remedy to to this grieve. Can I cut the two wires and connected to where? is t 12 volts?

So, let me get this straight. Your power supply is working, but the power supply's internal fan is not working?

Well, you just voided the warranty by taking it apart...

All fans (except server fans) are 12 volts...

@OP: Please clear us up on exactly what you are doing. Also, what brand/model PSUs? Dying/bad fans are a common indication of cr@ppy PSUs.
