Will my Enermax 535W PSU support the 4850?

Enermax Model EG565P-VE

System Specs:
Mobo: Asrock Dual 939 SATA2
2GB Ram 3200
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200 - 2.20Ghz

Currently mt ATI HD 2600 XT is overheating like crazy and crashing so I Bought the 4850 and am hoping that my system will run it ok.

535 watts is plenty, and that psu has 2 pci-e 6 pin power plugs on it. The 4850 needs only one, so it should work just fine.

The one problem I see is that the entire system might bottleneck the performance of your 4850, but that would require getting an entirely new system, which I'm sure you don't want to do. Perhaps try overclocking your cpu to increase performance.

It'll be o.k with that PSU. Also as 'tehHooligan' said, you might experience bottleneck with this processor.

Yes. It can even support the HD4890.

A HD3850 would be a better match for your system. Your processor couldn't keep up with a HD4850.
