Look people i wanted to ask one last question before buying a PC and that is than can a Corsair cx400w run a E6300 OCed to 3.3~3.5gh , 2GB ram and a HD5750 or 5770!!!AS said in guru3d the card needs 40 amps on 12v rail...Is it due to their PC which they have used with HD5750 and 5770 that is i7!!

Yes, it's enough to run, guru3d is saying 40 amps because of the i7, i7 uses much more power than core 2 duo. 5770 is equal to 4830 in using power

5850 would probably be fine as well, use's around 3-4 amps more power than the 5770 and you would need to use a power adapter for the second 6 pin.
It would of course cause your 400 watt psu to have to work harder, creating more heat and noise.
I wouldn't attempt to use a GTX280 with the cx400.
