Blue ray media player

It wont work. You need a GPU, sound card and monitor that is HDCP compatable and if you have that without a GPU I highly doubt yours is HDCP compatable.

You might want to look into a new system/.

First off, Blu-ray playback will work with intergrated graphics ( see below). I installed a Sony Blu-ray DVD drive in a Toshibia A205 laptop (Flunked CPU as upgrade advisor said needed min 1.83 vs 1.66 installed) and in a A305 laptop. Play back is fine in both.

Down load a BD advisor (Here is one, but there are others out there)

Your 1 Gig memory may be on the low side Min = 1 Gig, recomended = 2 gigs. If you are using a DVI, or HDMI video cable then As Jimmy said both your system GPU, and Monitor need to be HDCP enabled. You can use AnyDVD program to get around this requirement. IF your using a VGA cable then this is a mute point.

Here's a list from Total media (I have and use both Total media, cyberling (Ver 7.3) and any DVD
