Hey guys,

I run a computer with an ASUS P5KPL which recently had it's built in soundcard crash (to some extend) which resulted in me buying a new one.

After getting the new one I installed it's newest driver, removed the old stuff that was in the BIOS and such, however, whenever I'm using the microphone over programs such as skype, ventrilo, recorder etc. I just get static, I tried going through the sound settings and troubleshoot, but I just can't find the problem.

Info:
ASUS P5KPL
Creative Audigy SE
Windows XP Pro SP3
Running with newest drivers and disabled the old one in BIOS.

If any other info is needed I'll post it, thanks.
