Does anyone know about an incompatibility between this CPU and this motherboard?

I swapped out the CPU and now get a really strange phenomenon:
Power comes on, all the fans work, but no display, (presumably) no POST, the CD drives won't open, but all the lights are on and I get no alarms in the form of beeping of flashing lights.

Any idea what might be causing this? I've triple checked all the connections and made sure that everything is seated properly.

Any help/guidance is appreciated!
