3TB drive @6GB showing up as 3GB transfer when booting up. The drive is a 6GB transfer rate drive along with the cable and its in a 6GB SATA port on the motherboard, but when booting up and detected it only shows that its at 3GB Speed ... any ideas?

Other then double checking everything no. It doesn't really matter however. As a mechanical drive you're going to be limited by the spinning platters. This means around 150-175MBps read.

Is there anything is the bios that I should be looking for? Think that the drive could be failing?

Not that I know of. You might need a different driver, but if anything its probably the wrong SATA port being used.

Again, I wouldn't worry about it. It's a normal hard drive so you'll never get anywhere near that 6Gbps.

Its the right SATA port, I have a Sabertooth P67 and it has 2 6GB ports and I have it on one of them .... (It used to say 6GB speed rating before if this helps)

As 47... said, this is a non-issue because the drive won't spin any faster no matter what kind of SATA port it's connected to.
